Are you at risk of losing your housing?  The Kiwewin Program (Housing Loss Prevention) offers assistance with advocating to your landlord, accessing and navigating community services, and finding suitable housing.  Please contact the Kiwewan Program at the Friendship Centre: 587-297-9500.

A daytime shelter for individuals experiencing homelessness.

Odyssey House

Provides safe, short term emergency shelter for women (with or without children) who have left an abusive relationship.  other women in crisis may be accommodated if space is available.  Provides crisis intervention, support, referrals, public education, and advocacy.  COMPLETELY CONFIDENTIAL.

Sunrise House | Youth Emergency Shelter

The shelter is a temporary place to stay for youth aged 12-17 as they are supported in their search for permanent housing.  Meals, clothing, and personal care items are provided based upon need.  Additional supports and parent mediation are also available.
